Grow With Me Parent-Child Group

Life Steps Foundation is partnering again with Help Me Grow - San Mateo County!  Our "Grow With Me" parent-child groups aim to provide education in the area of child development and family support for families with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers at no cost. 

This next six-week group series will be offered for families with Infants 0 - 6 months and Toddler 18 months - 3 years. We will meet virtually over Zoom. We will video conference in our own comfortable space. The classes will be led by our Early Interventionists. 

The program offers: 

• 6 one hour groups covering different areas of development and how to promote your child's growth and developmental skills 
• Opportunities to meet other parents and caregivers and learn from each other’s experiences 
• Fun activities to spend quality time with your child at home 
• Opportunities to consult with an Early Interventionist or Infant Development Specialist
• In each session, we will cover different areas of child development. You are welcome to join any or all the weeks. 

INFANT GROUP ( 0 - 6 MONTHS)   

Meets every TUESDAY from 10:00 am to 11:00 am for 6 weeks via Zoom.

·        1/28/25:  CONNECT: BUILDING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS

·        2/4/25:  DAILY ROUTINES AND FEEDING

·        2/11/25:  LET ME SLEEP - SENSORY, CALM, AND SLEEP

·        2/18/25:  WE PLAY WE LEARN: PLAY AND FINE MOTOR

·        2/25/25: EARLY COMMUNICATION

TODDLER GROUP ( 18 M - 3 YRS) 

Meets every THURSDAY from 10:00 am to 11:00 am for 6 weeks via Zoom

·        1/30/25:  TELL ME MORE! - COMMUNICATION

·        2/6/25:   CALM THE CHAOS - SENSORY AND ROUTINES

·        2/13/25:  BEHAVIOR - TODDLERS AND TANTRUMS

·        2/20/25: WE PLAY WE LEARN - PLAY AND FINE MOTOR

·        2/27/25:  TRANSITION TO DAYCARE / PRESCHOOL
