About Grow With Me Parent-Child Groups
Life Steps Foundation is partnering again with Help Me Grow - San Mateo County! Our "Grow With Me" parent-child groups aim to provide education in the area of child development and family support for families with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers at no cost.
The six-week class group series will be offered for families with infants ( 0 - 6 months ). We will meet virtually using Zoom. We will video conference in our own comfortable space. The classes will be led by our Early Interventionists.
Program Offerings
- 6 one hour groups covering different areas of development and how to promote your child's growth and developmental skills
- Opportunities to meet other parents and caregivers and learn from each other’s experiences
- Fun activities to spend quality time with your child at home
- Opportunities to consult with an Early Interventionist or Infant Development Specialists

Infant Group (6-12 months)
Infant Playgroup Schedule
Meets every TUESDAY from 10:00 am to 11:00 am for 6 weeks ( OCTOBER 29th - DECEMBER 3rd, 2024) via Zoom.
In each session, we will cover different areas of child development. You are welcome to join any or all the weeks.
CLASS 1 (10/29) — LEARN WITH MOVEMENT - GROSS MOTOR
CLASS 2 (11/5) — WE PLAY WE LEARN - PLAY AND FINE MOTOR
CLASS 3 (11/12) — LET ME SLEEP - SENSORY, CALM, AND SLEEP
CLASS 4 (11/9) — BUILDING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS
CLASS 5 (11/26) — FEEDING AND DAILY ROUTINES
CLASS 6 (12/3) — EARLY COMMUNICATION
Infant Group (12-18 months)
INFANT (12 - 18m) - meets THURSDAYS (Skip 11/28th holiday)
· 10/31st: LEARN WITH MOVEMENT - GROSS MOTOR and FINE MOTOR
· 11/7th: WE PLAY WE LEARN - PLAY AND SOCIAL SKILLS
· 11/14th: COMMUNICATION
· 11/21st: SENSORY DEVELOPMENT
· 12/5th: BEHAVIOR / SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
· 12/12th: ROUTINE / SELF-HELP
