In Northern California, LSF Children and Family Services focuses on meeting the unmet needs of our youngest community members. For infants and toddlers, from birth to 3 years old, who have developmental disabilities, are at-risk of developmental delays, or have a diagnosis of developmental disabilities, we offer in-home and center-based early intervention programs that support and maximized infant and toddlers development, foster family involvement, and enhance parent/child relationships.
Current Services
- Early Intervention: our trained staff provide one-on-one in-home training to help promote a child's development of language, motor skills, and cognitive, social-emotional and self-help abilities.
- Center-Based Day Preschool and Childcare Programs: inclusion-based We Play We Learn Preschool Program located in the scenic coastal community of Pacifica, CA.

This wonderful organization generously donated and assembled Welcome Kits that were given to families with infants 0 - 18 months and toddlers 18 months to 3 years old participating in LSF’s Mommy and Me Group in partnership with Help Me Grow - San Mateo. The items in the kits included books, sensory toys, and art materials to help foster sensory, fine motor, social-emotional, and communication skills to use in activities facilitated by early interventionist / infant development specialists during the Mommy and Me group. We want to give thanks to all the mother and daughter volunteers from NCL for your time, energy and support!

Thank you Millbrae Community Foundation for awarding us with a $2,250.00 grant for year of 2017. This grants will help us to supply more tools for the children in our inclusion programs.
